About Me

I believe that skilled loving touch can greatly facilitate health and healing.

My background as a professional Massage Therapist begins with my training at the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy.  I studied anatomy & physiology, kinesiology, and a broad range of massage techniques.  After graduating in 1991, I opened my office in Amherst.  I have gained invaluable hands-on experience, over the past 19 years, by working with hundreds of wonderful clients who have honored me with their trust and confidence.  In addition to running my own private practice, I have enhanced my skills by working along-side a Neuromuscular Therapist in Greenfield, and 3 chiropractors in Belchertown, Hadley and South Hadley.

My training continues to expand as I attend additional workshops and classes.  It is important to me, on both professional and personal levels, to continue to learn and grow.  A love of mine is spending time in nature and developing my knowledge of plants and their healing qualities.  Another interest of mine is the relationship between sound and healing.  My learning continues to broaden my understanding of massage and energy techniques, health and healing; this keeps my work with clients vibrant and alive.

I am licensed by the State of Massachusetts and a member of Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals. 

My intention is to bring an attentive loving presence to each session I give.
